Monte da Preguicinha farm is located in the Parish (freguesia) of Quintos on the road running from Baleizão to the town of Quintos. The Parish of Quintos forms part of the Municipality (concelho) of Beja in Portugal's southern Alentejo. The farm is just two and a half hours drive from Lisbon and 30 minutes drive from the motorway that connects Lisbon to the Algarve. Spain is also only a 30 minute drive from the farm. There is also a rail service from Beja to Lisbon and even talk of converting Beja's military airport to a civil airport capable of taking international flights.
