Carretos Farm Carretos farm has a total area of 105 hectares (260 acres) of good arable land. The farm also has its own farmhouse but it's presently a ruin and needs rebuilding. A stream at the bottom of the farm provides water for irrigation and there are plans to bring in additional water from the Alqueva dam.
